**AMENDED MINUTES**
THESE MINUTES ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN
The Board of Selectmen held a special meeting on Monday, May 24, 2010 in the Council Chambers, 3 Primrose Street, Newtown, CT. First Selectman Llodra called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.
PRESENT: First Selectman E. Patricia Llodra, Selectman William F.L. Rodgers and Selectman William F. Furrier
NEW BUSINESS:
- Set Date and Time for the Special Town Meeting: Selectman Furrier moved to set the date and time of the Special Town Meeting as Tuesday, June 1, 2010 in the Board Room at the Municipal Center at 8:00 a.m; and pursuant to Section 7-7 of the Connecticut General Statutes to remove the action on the Budget from the call of the town meeting and send it directly to referendum. Selectman Rodgers seconded. All in favor. The purpose of the Town Meeting will be to set the date and time of the third referendum.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 a.m.
